Kısır (Bulgur Salad)
Place the Tek Coarse Bulgur into a large dish and soak for 15 minutes. Wash and clean all of the vegetables. Green peppers, skinned tomatoes and cucumbers should be diced together with the parsley, onions and spring onions. Cook the onions in oil until golden brown. Add the green pepper and stir. Add the tomato and pepper paste, cumin and red pepper and cook for a few minutes. Pour the contents onto the cracked wheat and mix well. Add crushed garlic, lemon juice, spring onion, parsley, mint and salt. Add the tomatoes and cucumbers last and serve with lettuce leaves.
